A discount policy applied based on the total amount of purchased products. When the total purchase amount reaches the configured threshold, the system automatically applies the discount (either Fixed or Percentage depending on Discount Type).
Steps to create an Amount-Based Discount program
Step 1. Go to Trade Discounts menu → click New
Step 2. In the Add Trade Discount form, fill in:
Name: enter the program name
Person in Charge: select the person responsible for this program
Start Date - End Date: select the start and end date — the program will only be active within this period
Discount Policy: select Amount-Based Discount
Discount Type: choose either Percentage or Fixed
Description: enter a description for the program (optional)
Attachment: attach any related files or images if needed
Step 3. Open the program detail and create discount rules → then click Save
Click New → the Amount - Based Discount popup appears→ fill in the fields:
Note: enter a note for this discount rule.
Customer Groups: select the customer groups to apply this rule (optional). If none is selected, it will apply to all customer groups.
Customers: select specific customers to apply. If none is selected, it will apply to all customers or to customers in the selected groups.
Products: select the products to apply the discount (choose All to apply for all products).
Click Add Discount Tier to create discount thresholds:
Minimum Product Amount: minimum total product value required to qualify for the discount.
Discount percentage/Discount Fixed: discount rate in percentage or fixed amount, depending on the Discount Type selected.
Maximum Discount Amount: capped maximum discount amount (optional, used to limit over-discounting).
